ABOUT US

Salitre Sport, an active tourism, leisure and free time company, aims to get closer to the seabed of Las Canteras Beach through Clear Kayak, Kayak and Snorkel.

This urban beach is located in an environment of high biological and geological level, and presents ideal conditions for the initiation of the knowledge of the marine environment and outreach activities, being specially designed to practice these activities, in which you will learn to value the natural environment through physical activity.

The main objective will be to raise awareness in society of the natural and cultural value that we have on our coasts, promoting its conservation and protection.

​

Thanks to the City Council of Ciudad de Mar (Las Palmas de G.C. City Council) we will be physically in the Muro Marrero area, Playa Chica, during low tide times. 

​

We collaborate with the RedPROMAR (Network of Observers of the Marine Environment in the Canary Islands), an organization of the Government of the Canary Islands for the monitoring and surveillance of the marine life of the archipelago, in which any collaborating citizen can contribute data to this network.

​

Both Clear Kayak, Kayak and Snorkel are easy-to-execute practices that will allow us to approach the bottoms in different ways. We provide you with all the material so you can discover every corner of the beach.
